Agreement with TUI Marine, part of TUI Travel PLC

 

 

 

CNMI announces that it has contracted with TUI Marine for the TUI-owned luxury charter operator, The Moorings, to base its southern Caribbean operation in Camper & Nicholsons' Port Louis Marina, in Grenada W.I. from October 2010. The agreement envisages that over 30 charter yachts will be based in Port Louis, together with offices, briefing rooms and other support facilities.

 

CNMI and TUI Marine have also agreed to collaborate on future opportunities and to seek further opportunities in the marina and yacht charter sector.

 

C&N Marinas Chairman, Nick Maris, said, "We are delighted that The Moorings have chosen Port Louis as their base in the region, and I have no doubt that Grenada will become a favourite destination for their charter customers. Our discussions with TUI have included collaborating with their other yachting brands, and in other marina locations. This could involve entering new markets as well as places where C&N or TUI already operate. We look forward to pursuing these plans together."
